The sites were probably blocked by a very good reason. If they come from a public space that is accessed ie school, library, school or other public access point, you should be administrators for what they have blocked websites.

If you have access to things like YouTube or MySpace, you know that take away the more bandwidth you use, the more other legitimate users of the system.

Bypassing the blocks was probably not a good idea. The fact that you must ask yourself how this leads me to believe that you do not have the technical capabilities in order to avoid detection.
