New Car Seat Law Classic Car Seat Belt/ Car Seat Law In Washington?

Classic car seat belt/ car seat law in Washington? - new car seat law

If I have a vintage car to Washington, which was built in 1956, before the seatbelt law, I make sure that drive my 3 years in a child seat?

Yes, it is because I believe that since 1980, all vehicles with seat belts must be that the lap and chest crossed .... So be fitted if it is in an accident that half could be reduced ..
It sounds awful .. but thats wut kind of book, says ..

All passenger cars manufactured or assembled after January 1, have at least two rounds of the 1965 belt for use in the front seats, but the child, that I just call and ask. ...

Update: I called my friend who is a Texas Ranger, and although he was not familiar with the laws of your state in which they told me that in Texas, which vehicles in the same category as j 've mentioned above, with safety belts be equipped for a child "can not" in this car, more if it determines that the cities of it.

In Oregon, a state of you ;-), if the vehicle is not provided with safety belts in the factory, which is obviously not equipped for the required work. However, when upgraded, you must use them.

Never this car seat dilemma of this kind is one I see your local DMV or police to see what they say.

Your car is not required to have seat belts, it's true. However, it is safe to place the car seat without restrictions, and illegal the front seat if they are embedded.
If you do not intend to put a belt, I do not suggest your child in that vehicle.
